My first MOMent

My first MOMent happened when I first became a stay-at-home mom. I was in the kitchen washing the dishes and I don't hear anything coming from my kid. I walk into the living room and I see him on the floor with a box of cereal spilled all over the floor, couch, table, etc. The room looked like it was having breakfast along with my kid. It took me forever to clean up those Cheerios.

  1. When my little Emily pooped at the store and broke something at the same time...

  2. Probably when my son was having a huge fit about something and at the same time my daughter took off her diaper and pooped on the couch. Fun times lol

  3. Mine was not so funny at the time - it was pretty scary, but the kid survived in spite of me. I had put my 9-month-old daughter in her car seat, per normal, but had forgotten to secure her. As I was backing out of the parking space, I saw her two little feet in the air in my rearview mirror. I never forgot to secure her again! And we laugh about it now. What else are you going to do?

  6. Okay. I'll have to think about that. There were so many moments....messes? Playing in the garden with the hose, digging holes and whoops...all the clothes and diapers are off. Mud everywhere...for days.

  7. oh my I used to sell Avon and had ordered some hair remover cream for a customer. I was exhausted so left part of my orders unpacked and fell asleep. My daughter was napping in bed with me (daddy works nights) and was about 4 or so at the time. I didn't realize she had woken up and when Daddy arrived home around 3 am he saw tufts of hair on the bathroom and kitchen floor. Wondering what was going on, he walked into the bedroom and saw our daughter gleefully rubbing the cream on her hands, then running her hands through her hair... resulting in bald clumps all over her head. He managed to save the cat just in time as she was reaching for him as the next victim...
